You Say It's Your Birthday?

Today we had Riley's 6th Birthday Party. Since it is July in Texas... we had it in the morning to try and keep with the cooler temperatures. We also borrowed an inflatable water slide to keep cool.

As you can see by the photo below... Riley is quite full of herself and excited to be 6.



Riley wanted cupcakes and since we went with a "beach" theme, Cari made beach cupcakes. The brown are the sand and the blue the water. There were sea creatures, palm trees and sand buckets that had sand in them. All edible of course.

Natalie loved the ice cream. She chose nilla favor. Adam was trying to decide between cake or ice cream and decided to alternate.

"Spanish Baby" as Riley named her in the store, from us. That was quite a trick buying it with her with me- especially since she found it at one of the stores at the outlet mall in San Marcos.


We are going to Sea World on Wednesday (her "real" birthday) to have some fun. All in all we had a great time.
