Tim the Snake Wrangler

One bright morning while cooking the family a nice weekend breakfast, Tim called me from the garage and asked for some help. He said he had found a little "corn" snake in the garage near our water bottles. Okay, no problem. I walk to the garage to find a baby copperhead wrapped around my husbands arm with him holding the head.

OK folks, Terri Irwin I am not.

Side point of info: If you did not know, Tim is color blind.

What do I do- run for my camera of course! In the brief few minutes it takes me to get the camera, I find Tim out in the street with the thing off his arm, still thinking its a corn snake. I tell him its a damn copperhead and is poisonous. His response, "well, I guess I should kill it. What do you suggest?" I quickly got the hoe from the garage and told him to chop the things head off. Tim beheaded the snake and then checked it for fangs to make sure I was correct in it being poisonous- and shock- it had fangs and venom dripped out.
