Preparing for Ike

So as luck would have it... Tim was away on TDY again. After our last bout with Dolly and the rain I thought it best to install a catch drain system. Here are pics of the ditch I dug on Thursday (yes, I had to take the day off).


It had to be on a downward slope...


And then I had to cover it back up and put landscape paper down and the hope it to eventually have enough rock to make a little creek bed.
