The pictures I promised

Here are the pictures of the concrete additions. The first picture below is standing on the free standing kitchen looking at the new overlay/extension from the back porch.




Here are the girls outside of the back door. Yes, mom we are putting some kind of railing up. We have already talked to Natalie about jumping from the edge and that it is off limits!


Here are the girls standing on the kitchen pad. I am in the upper back corner of the backyard.


This is looking at the pad from the back porch. Marco designed the stairs and fanned them out. It is estimated that Bob has made the "You don't know how much money I'm loosing on this job." 18 times. Ten of these times were made to my mother-in-law within an hours time.


This is a close up look at how salted concrete looks without the stain. It is a cool process where rock salt is lightly pressed into the concrete and left to melt away. It is a popular style here- the playground we visited today even had this for sidewalks.
