Front Porch Make Over

Weekley finally fixed our front porch.  We knew something was not right with the porch, just not the specifics.  It ends up the front porch had a dip in front of the door and it was perfectly level in some areas (not allowing water to run-off).  This weekend, Oscar, the tile guy came and laid the new tile I picked out at the "design center."  I can't wait until it is completed.  Here are some pictures of the first phase.  Oscar has to come back and grout it.

Here is what it looks like in front of the door.

This is looking from the left end of the porch.

This picture is of the tile up close.

Wardrobe Malfunction

Today Natalie had an accident at school just before I picked her up.  She tore her pants.  When the teacher asked her how it happened, she told them that I sent her to school dressed this way.  As if?  I can't believe she told them that...

Then when she got home, she said, "Hey Mommy, look!  You can see my panties through the hole  in my pants!"

Serious Hair Trouble

I decided to try a new hairstyle.  Take a risk, gamble, etc.  Bad Idea!  I am now the flying nun with a flat back that won't flip and 2 big wings off the side.

JOY

Can you tell Tim is happy his Gators won the BCS Championship?  He requested the night off from work.  He worded it as follows:  I Tim McGovern request the night off on Thursday, January 8 to watch my beloved Gators kick the sh*t out of the Oklahoma Sooners.   It was worth it.

Mii and the Wii are ONE!!!

We got a Wii for Christmas.  It has been a great family time game.  Tonight we are doing the training section of Wii Sports.  I am rocking with the baseball.  Last night I hit 5 home runs and tonight I hit another home run.  As I hit the last home-run here is the conversation that took place in the room.

Natalie:  Daddy, why is Mommy so good at this?
Riley:  That's because she played softball or something when she was young.
Tim:  Yeah right!   Your mom can't walk and chew gum at the same time without tripping over something.

I just laughed.  I didn't hit anymore home-runs after that, I was too tickled to concentrate.

You Better Watch Out!

Me: Natalie did you hit your sister?
Riley: Yeah, you better tell the truth because... Santa, Elmer, all the Elves, God, Jesus and the Christmas Mouse are all watching you.
Natalie: I'm sorry for hitting you Riley. Mommy will Santa still come tonight.
