Ride'em Cowgirl

Today the girls had Rodeo Day at School. With Doodie's help they made their own mounts to ride in competition. We've never seen such a site has these cowgirls with their horses. I will post pictures from the event later.

Dressed up for a Yee Haw of a time.

Riley riding White Stallion.

Natalie riding Bradley.

Natalie Turns 3!!!

Yesterday was Natalie's Birthday. We just had some cake and she made a wish. We are going to do a party after Tim comes home. Her teacher gave her a ribbon that says "Birthday Girl".

She came home and found balloons waiting.

Here she is blowing out the candles and making a wish. Allison brought her puppy Bradley and sang with us.

4 Plumbers and 6 Holes later

It all started with a little extra lint in the dryer. It then went to a phone call to the water softener people. Discovery: water softner not going into the pipes in the house.

The plumbers come. Yes ma'm you're right something is amiss. This past Monday they show expecting to cut a hole in the garage. A multitude of apologies later, 6 random holes throughout my house, and a tiny mexican somewhere between my subflooring... the connections were made and the problem solved. Oh, the tiny mexican did escape and is free.

Up goes the tiny Mexican.

Realizing the problem is bigger than thought back-up arrives.

The hole in the garage was not enough.

Neither were the ones in the utility room.

If you look real hard you may see the tiny mexican up over my entryway. He crawled across from the garage.

What fun. What fun.

New Window Treatments

Here are pictures of the window treatments my Mom made while she has been here. I need to take pictures of the ones Donna did for Tim's office and our bathroom, etc- we are still hanging- so as soon as they are all up I will have pics. Oh, and we painted the kitchen and breakfast nook yellow too!

Here are the ones she did on the doors going outside.

Just For Daddy

It's been a little windy here lately. The dust from the construction has been a wee heavy, so we took this opportunity to send the best message ever to Daddy.

WE MISS YOU!!!!

Electrical Lesson of the Day

While the warranty manager was here with the plumber (another long story for another day), I learned a new lesson. You cannot plug your deep freezer into a GFCI outlet. You don't do this because the outlet can trip and you will not know it... loosing all your items in the freezer. Instead, you must use (this is the official term I promise) a Designated Freezer Outlet. In case this is a foreign language for you as well I have included photos.

GFCI - BAAADDDD

Designated Freezer Outlet . GOOD.

Sacked Out!

Day: Saturday
Time: 9:30 am
Do you know where your child is?

Still in Mommy and Daddy's bed. She was one tired girl.
